Raymond A. CifernoVice President of OperationsRay Ciferno joined Akustica as an experienced business leader in the high technology and semiconductor industries. He has 14 years of experience that includes operational responsibilities at several large and mid-size organizations. Ray served as Vice President and General Manager at Marconi where he led the Americas customer support and outsourcing operations. Prior to Marconi, Ray spent several years in the semiconductor industry focusing on fabrication equipment and services. As Regional Manager with Varian Semiconductor Equipment Assoc., Ray was responsible for key relationships with the world's largest semiconductor manufacturer's including Intel Corporation, Motorola Semiconductor Products, Philips Semiconductor and ST Microelectronics. Ray established a foundation in semiconductors during his tenure at Intel Corporation where He led a team within Intel's equipment development group responsible for supply-line management activities to support global fabrication expansion. Ray received his BA in accounting from Washington and Jefferson College and his MBA in finance and strategic management from the Joseph M.
